About this project
Scramble is a side-scrolling platformer in the spirit of the classics, with an egg as the hero: expressive eyes, squash and stretch, and a lot of charm for something drawn entirely in code. It is built with Phaser and Vite, plays in landscape on a phone with an on-screen gamepad or on a keyboard at a desk, and saves your progress in the browser with no account.
What's in it
- Platforming built around feel: variable jumps, a dash, and three enemy types
- Star ratings, best times, and a level select
- Sound effects and music synthesized in code, with no audio files

This one is still being built
Level designers and game artists: I'd like a second brain on levels, enemies, and what makes a run worth replaying.
It's still taking shape, which makes this the best time to influence where it goes. Use it, pick it apart, or build on it with me.
